I am Libby,

A Little Bit About Myself
Hi, I'm Libby, a Wellbeing Educator with over 20 years of experience in Community Mental Health, Parent Support, Child Safety Training, and Family Support, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate the complex challenges life presents. My work spans across all ages and backgrounds, including new mums, children, teens, adults, LGBTIQA+ communities, and families.
As a mother to four incredible children, 2 bios and 2 foster children, I know first hand the struggles of parenting through Mental Illness, Neurodiversity, and complex trauma. My own journey, shaped by childhood and adult trauma, has fuelled my passion for equipping children, teens, adults and families to handle life's challenges, big or small.
As a Wellbeing Educator, I focus on empowering individuals and families to enhance their mental, emotional, and physical health. I provide guidance, resources, and strategies to help build resilience, manage stress, and improve overall quality of life. I'm committed to fostering a supportive environment where individuals can access the tools and understanding they need to flourish.
"I focus on helping individuals find peace and balance in their daily lives."
Why Choose Me
I’m passionate about teaching and living the principles that guide my work. With a foundation in mindfulness and meditation, I focus on helping individuals find peace and balance in their daily lives.
I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote emotional regulation and positive thinking.
My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, empowering people to harness their inner strengths and find practical solutions to life’s challenges.
I’m also deeply trauma-informed, ensuring that my work is sensitive and responsive to the unique needs of those who have experienced trauma. My training in play therapy and counselling further enriches my ability to connect with and support both children and adults.
These practices are not just part of my professional toolkit—they are the guiding principles I live by, shaping both my personal and professional life.
